Food vouchers are value tickets used as payment instrument in nourishment companies. Food vouchers are used according to the law and can be considerate a deductible expense or untaxed income. Unlike money, the food vouchers are unfungible value paper.
According to the law every person which receives food vouchers will buy nourishment products with maximum 2 tickets/day. Starting with 1st of September 2006, the value of a food voucher is 7,15 RON. This value is established according to the Gheorghe Barbu’s Order, the social solidarity and work minister no. 145/2006.
The emission of food vouchers is possible only with the authorization of Public Finances Ministry, authorized companies that own restaurants or buffets for their employees.
The food voucher is available only with the serial number given by the issuer. Also it has to contain the next essential security elements:
Name and address of the issuer;
The nominal value of the food voucher;
The valabillity period;
Interdiction to be used for buying alcohol or cigarettes;
Space for the date and companies’ stamp which will receive food voucher;
For the protection against the attempts to falsify, food vouchers contain security elements (different graphic elements, thermic fluorescent ink,..).
EUROTICKET has the pleasure to announce you about it’s launching on food vouchers’ market in Romania, as a new competitor. Starting with 28 July 2006, EUROTICKET is authorized to emit PICKNIK TICKET food voucher.
This kind of activity is unfold based on Licence no. 45/28.07.2006, according to the law no 142/1998 regarding the grant of food vouchers.
